Ester Greenfield, together with Lola Zakharova, will cover how economic and political conditions in foreign countries can affect U.S. immigration processes for citizens of those countries; how U.S. immigration laws reflect the nation’s security concerns posed by foreign countries; and how U.S. immigration laws reflect economic goals and policies of the United States such as job creation and protection of employment opportunities for U.S. workers.
