Join John Shanahan and Naoko Inoue Shatz, who will be discussing legal issues U.S. companies need to be aware of when they establish businesses in Japan.  Key topics that will be discussed include: 1) an introduction to entity selection and business formation in Japan, including timing, immigration issues, cost, tax considerations, and management implications of how the roles of the directors in Japanese companies differ from their U.S. counterparts; and 2) Japanese Employment Law considerations, with some comparison to employment issues in the U.S.
